Billing

Captive is $9 per site per month. A site is one property or venue — one UniFi console connection with its own portal, branding, and guest sessions.

Free trial

Every new account starts a 30-day free trial with full functionality and no credit card. Subscribe any time during the trial — your card isn't charged until the trial ends. If the trial lapses, your dashboard and captured emails stay accessible; after a grace period your portals stop authorizing new guests until you subscribe. Reactivation is instant.

Founding offer

The first 20 customers get one site free, for life — the discount shows as a credit line on your billing page and applies automatically, forever. A founding seat is claimed when your first site successfully connects to its gateway (registering an account alone doesn't reserve one).

Payment and invoices

Payments run through Stripe. Dashboard → Billing → Manage billing opens the Stripe portal for card changes, invoice history, and cancellation. Adding a site mid-cycle is prorated automatically; removing one credits the difference on your next invoice.

Captive is intended for vacation rental homes and other small businesses — not hotels or other large deployments. See the Terms for the acceptable-use policy, and contact us if you're not sure your use fits.
